CARCASS!! This bull scanned at 1,220 lbs. (2/8/04) with an adj. REA of 13.2 sq. in. (1.08 sq. in./cwt) and a %IMF 4.04…and only 0.26" Rib Fat!! Dam had act. Adj. %IMF 7.01!!!! with EPD U%IMF 0.41 (Top 1% in breed)

A stout bull from a proven cow, Sitz Henrietta Pride 1800. This bull is a flush brother to the one that went to Snake Creek (Angus) Ranch (Larry Rice) from MBT in 2001 and is still used in their herd. MBT ratio 104, gained 3.31 lb. and came off test at 1,290 lb., WDA 3.30 (ratio 104). This bull scanned 3.38 %IMF and a REA 13.0 on a scan weight of 1,242 lb. and only 0.21 Rib Fat.

This will be one of the highest growth bulls at the Indiana test with one of the highest REA and marbling scans. The bull had a WWR 110 (810 act., 775 adj. WW) and he was 61% of his dam's adult weight. Lot 35 had a 100-day weight of 1,345 lb. (ADG 4.21 lb./day). His actual scan data: 1,221 lb. scan weight and a REA 16.2 (15.4 adj.) a %IMF 3.56 (3.41 adj.) and Rib Fat (0.23 adj.)...that is an outstanding set of carcass data. His dam is a proven performer. Her previous calf was a really beefy, "1407" son. This is a larger-framed bull that could give extra frame, power, and carcass to shorter, thicker cattle.

This bull is out of our herd bull ACF New Design 0316 (flush brother to two bulls in the ORIgen stud, he is out of B/R New Design 036 x GAR Precision 1680 on the No.1 REA female in the breed, Davis YR Blackbird 558H) and his carcass carried through to this bull!!! Lot 36 had a WWR of 116 (809 adj. WW!) and was 64% of his dam's body weight! Bull's birth weight 80 lb. This bull's carcass data was outstanding with a scan weight of 1,216 he had a 3.03 %IMF (2.92 adj.) and REA 15.7 (15.6 adj.)...that's 1.29 sq. in. of REA/cwt!!! This is a small-framed, athletic bull that should work well on larger cattle. Take a look, this bull is sound!
